Staff
The I.T. Centre is staffed by one full-time Manager - Jim Currie and one Adult Support Worker, Judi Briggs. The Centre is also assisted by two volunteers, currently Clare Bricklebank and Dan Spurway.
From time to time volunteers have worked within the Centre to gain experience in their studies. They have found the experience of working with different age groups in the Centre has helped them to gain employment or has raised their confidence to seek employment.
Jim, Judi, Clare and Dan will make you feel at ease and ensure your learning experience is stress free. They have been trained to assist you through your learning – Jim has over 18 years experience in Adult Learning, holds a degree qualification and is fully qualified to support our learners who aim to gain a qualification; Judi and Clare are qualified to Adult Support Level 2 and also hold the NCFE Level 3 qualification in Counselling Skills and Theory. Clare also is qualifed as a Level 2 Communicator for the Deaf.
Our friendly members of staff pride themselves on giving learners the information and advice which will guide them to their learning goals.
