Apart from training, we offer various other services within the centre:

A relaxed and informal environment for men to meet and chat about any subject they wish. Either in a group session or 1:1, there will be a male member of staff available for any member of the local community and beyond, to pop in and discuss whatever is on their mind. Sorry girls, this is men only even!

Applying for a job and don’t have a CV or maybe it's out of date? We’ll help you. With our new Job Club starting on Thu 27 Oct 2011 between 10:00 - 11:00 and every Thu thereafter, Shotton IT Resource Centre could be the place for you.

Proof reading service – have your work checked for spelling and grammar.

Need passport or driving licence photographs – we’re cheaper than the booths.

Have your certificates/important documents laminated to protect them.

Have your photographs scanned, enhanced, restored and enlarged.

Special Equipment
The Centre strives to cater for everyone’s needs and has purchased a rollerball mouse and large qwerty keyboard to cater for people with disabilities. It also boasts an interactive whiteboard and Supernova software.

Membership of the Centre and use of the computers and internet is free but charges are incurred for the following:-
